Input on planning that will be good for residents and how Bozeman is viewed: 1 DO NOT approve any more 4 story monstrosities like the one on Oak and 27th. Three stories are enough. High rises ruin the community look and feel not to mention the openness and the view. The placement of this building blocks off the views and looks like a housing project with a view toward deterioration before it is built. Bozeman does not have to become a boxed in area with ugly buildings and no parking. 2 Allow parking for a vehicle for every bedroom and room for guests to park. 3 All future streets should be wide enough for 4 cars with 2 passing easily and 2 cars parked. Too many streets are barely wide enough for 3 cars and certain not 3 full-size pickups. Poor planning when streets are too narrow. Money for developers should not drive the planning. 4 Include in the growth plan stopping permits for water hook ups when it is obvious that there is not enough water to serve the area. In other words limit growth. Use common sense don't just tell people not to use water when there is not enough to go around. 5 Preserve our views and the essence of our community. DON'T make Bozeman into a crowded high-rise city. 7 Include parks in all developments. 8 Make city taxes responsible for parks and cleaning streets rather than local subdivisions.
