OCT. 14, 2020 6-8 p.m. via Webex (details below) BABAB’s purpose is to recommend safe bicycle practices throughout Bozeman in regard to enhanced bicycle circulation and design, community-wide bicycle education and safety programs, and other matters relating to bicycling in the Bozeman area. This meeting will be held using Webex, an online videoconferencing system. Approve SEPTEMBER Meeting Minutes: 5 minutes C. Public Comment (5 minutes for each speaker) (Note: If you are a member of the public and you would like to make a formal presentation or request action from the board please email the board a week prior to the next official meeting date. The Chair will consider placing the item for on the agenda vs. public comment so as to give the presenter time to adequately discuss their issue and give the board time to give feedback or make more formal decisions.) D. Member Absences: James Lusby, Liaison from Bozeman Police Department E. General Update from City Transportation Engineer Presentation (10 minutes, Taylor Lonsdale) F. Options for BABAB, generally, to raise issues. Options include addressing with the CIty Manager and/or the City Commission. Specific options could include inviting the City Manager to a BABAB meeting. Action Item (10 minutes, Jason Delmue & Taylor Lonsdale) G. Gaps in separated asphalt path network -- generally and, specifically, those on the east side of N. 19th Ave. between Oak Street and the north boundary of the Ford Dealership property. Specific information of interest includes: (1) past efforts to work with the landowners, (2) any other past efforts, investigations, (3) current state of communications with the landowners, (4) what is needed to get these sections built, (5) what is needed for the path network to be useful (e.g., that it be plowed in the winter). Consider how best to proceed regarding closing these gaps and related issues, such as maintenance. Options include addressing with the City Manager and/or the City Commission.
