I strongly urge that the City Commission consider Hannah Van Wetter for this opening. She is a smart as she
is passionate and brings a fresh perspective on a range of issues that are not currently represented.
I don't mean this in a negative way, but if you take a look around at leadership locally, state wide, and
nationally, it is severely tilted towards an older generation that is reeling to keep up with an ever more
rapidly changing world. We are continually playing catch up instead of thinking ahead. We need someone
like Hannah to mix it up and create a town that she will actually be living in in fifty years. I am proud of her
for volunteering to do this giant community service project. Most folks of her age and caliber can't be
bothered. Investing in her with this position is investing in a Bozeman that your kids and grandkids will want
to live in, rather than occasionally visit.
