I am writing in support of Christopher Coburn for the role of City Commissioner. Given the ongoing COVID
situation, I think it would greatly benefit the city to have someone on the Commission with experience in
public health. And like many Bozemanites, I believe it is important that public officials consider viewpoints
from all sectors of the constituency. Christopher is a known advocate for underserved groups, and, as a
queer black man, he has firsthand experience as a member of several of these groups. I believe that both
his experience as a public health worker and as an advocate for underrepresented groups make him an
ideal candidate, and I hope that he will be seriously considered for this position.
