This evening I learned of a new zoning proposal to change a 120 acre parcel of land between Sacajawea
Middle School and Goldenstein Lane from residential to industrial use.
Please reconsider this proposal. The area around Sacajawea Middle School where we live is a pleasant
blend of residential and farmland. Recently, the adjacent farmland -- an alfalfa field -- was sold and is
planned to be converted into partly more residential property and combined residential-commercial which
we understand means apartment houses.
We do not want an industrial area being built here. I would also question the wisdom of planning a future
industrial area next to land zoned as residential..
