Dear City Commissioners,
Regarding the proposed change to allow 120 acres of industrial use south of Bozeman on Goldenstein near
Sacajawea School, I would ask that you reconsider this proposal. One of the things that makes Bozeman a
desirable place to live is not having industry scattered all over the valley. Allowing residential areas to be
"residential" makes them comfortable for living and does not create industrial ugliness all over the
Bozeman landscape. One of the beauties of zoning is to make sure that that doesn't happen. Please don't
change it now. This area south of the University is already being massively developed with mixed residential
neighborhoods. That's enough.
Please keep the industrial development to already developing industrial areas and allow residents space
away from such areas. Thank you, Barbara Schenck
