Dear City of Bozeman Commissioners,
I support appointing Christopher Coburn to the City Commission because he is one of the most thoughtful
and inspiring leaders I've had the opportunity to work alongside. Through his volunteer and work
engagements he has built strong connections with many sectors and diverse constituents in our
community. In this way, he is well positioned and prepared to immediately be effective as a Commissioner.
In my experience with Christopher, he is a visionary leader. He has the experience, judgement, and passion
needed to meaningfully contribute to the Commission and address some of our communities most pressing
challenges.
He has long advocated for the inclusion of underrepresented voices in all the spaces he occupies. He has
worked to create more diverse and equitable systems, and will bring that knowledge and focus to the
Commission
I have learned a lot from working with Christopher and appreciate his leadership and communication style.
I think he will be a great addition to the Commission because he is trusted in this community – known to be
an engaging, respectful and accountable partner. He has the demonstrated ability to truly engage and
foster collaboration.
Christopher can also relate to the many people who are impacted by our housing crisis. He understands
and relates to the growing population of young professionals in Bozeman, and offers perspective and lived
experience the commission needs.
I share with you my full endorsement of Christopher Coburn's candidacy for Commissioner and would feel
proud and grateful to have Christopher represent our community on the City's elected leadership team.
