Dear Commission:
My name is Eric Goldwarg and I am an attorney at Angel, Coil & Bartlett in Bozeman. I am writing to support
the appointment of Christopher Coburn to the City Commission.
I have worked with Christopher as a fellow board member at Gender Equality Montana, Inc. for the last two
years. I have been consistently impressed with Christopher's vision, commitment to the cause, and ability to
execute on the decisions we have reached as a board.
Some people are good at being visionaries, and some are good at implementing ideas (I call this "making
the trains run on time") but few are skilled at both. Christopher has that rare combination of skills, as
evidenced by the recent construction of two rainbow-colored crosswalks in downtown Bozeman.
Unlike so many other young Bozeman residents, Christopher has a local job (he doesn't telecommute to
California or Texas) and he rents housing. He is also decades younger than the other current
commissioners, thereby bringing an important voice to the table.
I enthusiastically support Christopher's appointment with no reservations.
