I have no issue with the message, but I do take issue with the highly partisan group who the sign is sponsored by. Curious as to why Bozeman is now essentially advertising for Forward Montana? I frankly don’t care who someone votes for, but our town and our Main Street is for all citizens and the city should not be endorsing ANY message from ANY political group. My wife and I are actively pursuing moving out of this city because the political climate is beginning to border on hostile to anyone who doesn’t fall 100% in line with this cities obvious left wing agenda. Again, I reiterate, I don’t have an issue with any perspective or viewpoint that an individual shares freely and of their own accord. After all, lively political debate and freedom of thought is a hallmark of our nation, but the city itself should remain non partisan and equally represent all its citizens. This yet again reminds us that Bozeman has no respect for its citizens that may not share in its leaders political ideology. Very disappointed, but unfortunately that has become the norm. I don’t expect this note to make a shred of difference, as I frankly suspect these letters are seldom read, much less taken seriously - but I felt compelled to write and speak up for those that this city clearly has so much distain for, the average working class Montanan.
