Developing the Idaho Pole Site is an irresponsible idea. This site is adjacent to residential areas that
already have overloaded infrastructure and roads. The small roads cannot handle the large amount of
traffic this project will create, during its building process and afterwards.
Additionally, the contamination of the site is in question and development could lead to unacceptable
levels of contamination in nearby waterways and soil.
There is no need to create more businesses and residences (second homes and vacation rentals) here.
There are already new buildings (commercial and residential) on E. Cottonwood that have been
unoccupied for multiple years and more to be built soon in that same area.
Please put a stop to the continued headache of closed roads and construction delays/reroutes that plague
Bozeman every summer.
Please consider the negative effect this will have on the livelihoods of our full-time residential neighbors
that serve our coffee, teach our kids and keep us safe. THANKS!
