I am concerned that the site Idaho Pole site still contains contaminated soil and could contaminated
groundwater. Does the city have a plan to ensure the site is safe before incentivizing private development.
If so, what is your plan? Will be there time for public comment on your plan?
I am also concerned that currently there is not adequate access to the site and this will only increase traffic
coming through our northwest neighborhood streets. The city should resolve the issue of access by forming
an arterial route before any development is considered. The burden should not fall on other property
owners in the city. What is your plan to have the URD cover such expenses.
