Dear Commissioners,
As a Bozeman citizen, I am compelled to comment on Chris Mehl. I have had three one-on-one encounters with him and each was frustrating and unpleasant. In each, he engaged in theage-old self-protection tactic of firing questions at me faster than I could answer. In each, he‘grossly mis-stated facts’ and, after each case, I took the time to research the real facts andpresent them to him with clear evidence – which he ignored. The conclusion I came to wasthat he was an untrustworthy and infinitely difficult person. He won’t change.
This is not what Bozeman needs in a mayor or commissioner.
It is distressing to me that commission has let this situation slide for so long. Mehl’s recentcontrition is paper thin and it needs to be overridden by his duly documented misdeeds. Heneeds to be removed from the commission.
