I would like to thank Mayor Mehl for his passion, forward thinking vision and his hard work during his
tenure as Deputy Mayor and his term as Mayor. I strongly support Mayor Mehl whom I have met with
numerous times to represent the older adult community needs . He was never rude or abrupt during our
discussions. He was attentive and often guided me and committee members to resources that might be
useful.
He should not be condemned for trying to move our city in new directions with innovative ideas and
proposals to work in a way that he feels he can best serve the community and address its growth. It seems
unfair that he was not given an opportunity to address these accusations at the time they occurred. No one
is perfect and he deserves an opportunity to evolve. I believe he is sincere in his efforts to commit to
moving forward with patience and a more respectful attitude now that he has been made aware of these
conflicts. I do not support removing Mayor Mehl .
