Brigham - Public Comment to be read at 9_8_2020 Bozeman City Commission special meetingFrom:Bob Brigham To:Agenda Subject:Public Comment to be read at 9/8/2020 Bozeman City Commission special meeting Date:Tuesday, September 8, 2020 11:00:00 AM When I clicked on the agenda for this meeting, it looked like a giant red flag. So I clicked the links and was appalled to learn of the allegations against Bozeman Mayor Chris Mehl -- thatwere thoroughly proven through the hundreds of pages of documentation. The scandal is all about the city manager job and draws into question the legitimacy of Jeff Mihelich holding the job, as the position was only vacant because of Mehl's allegedmisconduct. The credibility of city government matters during an economic catastrophe and pandemic: both Mehl and Milhelich have to go. The receipts are there and the city of Bozeman is expected to pay out a pile of money toformer City Manager Andrea Surratt -- at least show the future jury you're addressing the crisis. It's impossible for the Bozeman City Commission to un-poop the bed, but please at least try toclean up your mess. Chris Mehl has proven himself unfit to hold public office and Jeff Mihelich is fruit from a poison tree who has been an unmitigated disaster during his short time in Bozeman. They bothneed to go -- make it happen as soon as possible for the credibility of Bozeman City Hall. And remember, it's Bozeman's only defense to minimize damages after you lose the anticipatedlawsuit. Start acting with competence, which is something that has been sorely lacking while Chris Mehl has polluted this commission with his bullying fascism and expansive stupidity. Beg Dennis Taylor to come back. Robert Brigham32 West Main Bozeman, MT. 59715406-209-3745
