Site Visitor Name: Sarah EilersSite Visitor Email: seeilers@gmail.com Dear Chris,I wanted to let you know about an incident in my neighborhood last Friday night (8/28). There was a party, wecalled the police and they came. I called again a half an hour later because of the noise and was told by dispatch thatthe officers were still at the house. The officers stayed until the party goers left. It was around 11:30 before it calmeddown.I do not think anyone was given a citation. The officers were calmer than I would have been as drunks yelled "Don'tshoot. I'm white." or "What’s your badge number?"I was told that if this would have happened on campus the individuals would have been given a ticket and reportedto the correct university authorities. Do you know why tickets aren't being given to these people who host parties? Ido not understand why the rules are different in the community then those on campus for the same behaviors. Theirbehaviors impact the neighborhood including the children. Thank you,Sarah
