Maybe it's in the works, maybe you need more people on board, and I know it's a concern of every person
who is conscious of the air we breath (or just sitting outside the co op downtown sharing a snack). The
black smoke blown from diesel trucks. I can't understand why anyplace still allows it. The government is
making an example from the show Diesel Brothers. "The defendants are to pay $761,451 to the federal
government and $90,000 to Davis County. Shelby last year found the “Diesel Brothers” violated the Clean
Air Act and Utah law by removing pollution control devices..." Why do we not have a Clean Air Act in the
Last Best Place? "California’s standard has helped avoid 52 million tons of carbon pollution—and the
American Lung Association and Environmental Defense Fund found low-carbon fuel standard
implementation would significantly reduce cases of acute respiratory symptoms." These immature men
who "think it's cool" to douse everyone with a lingering cloud of un-breathable air violate my rights to clean
air. What can we do?
