Ball - Recognition of Forty Years of Dedication of Jim Halfpenny • 8J6120 _ TO: All friends and acquaintances of Jim Halfpenny, Ph.D. FROM: Gene Ball, Former Director of Yellowstone Association and Yellowstone Institute - Jim Garry, Long=--time Institute Instructor-, author, storyteller SUBJECT: Recognition of Forty Years of Dedication Even before the recent turmoil with YNP''s cooperating association (YF), and its option to discontinue the Institute (a remarkable Bi-Centennial project), some of us realized that the outfit eras likely to ignore a significant-milestone as- Jim Halfpenny Frith 200+ classes passed the forty-war mark as part of the Institute's educational mission. e determined to not let this go unnoticed. Icy all rights, YF should be stepping up to sponsor and cater a grand gathering to celebrate this-level of dedication. Hovever, since_it has lost its gray and sense of history-and - - indebtedness to its builders, ire grant to ask you to help. Many instructors deserve accolades for 10, 20, or 30 years of contributions to the educational goals of the Institute.
