Jeff,
Thank you for your recent email. This is the sixth comment I have received about thecrosswalks.
I do think we have opened a can of worms regarding painting our streets for one group but not
another.
Just a friendly FYI that I received a call from a lady that said she wants to paint a crosswalkdowntown that has kayaks and whitewater rafters and if we don’t honor that request, she’ll
likely sue us for discrimination.
I’m not saying I agree with her I’m just saying she has a very valid point. We might need todevelop a city policy to deal with these type of requests in the future?
Best,
Michael P. Wallner

After being assured by the Mayor via email there would be no street painting inBozeman, why am I addressing this again? I do not approve of my taxes being
used for the upkeep of painting the streets of Bozeman, except for governmentalsafety issues. We are already an inclusive community for everyone. I do not
appreciate one group Painting the streets versus another not painting the streets. This could be viewed as a form of discrimination to others.
