HomeMy WebLinkAbout20- RFQ - Lobbying Services for 2021 Legislative Session Questions and Answers1. Page One of the RFQ states in part: “All proposals must be provided as a single, searchable PDF
document file and be submitted digitally as an email attachment …” Part V, Section B separately
states that respondents shall “deliver one (1) original, five (5) copies, and one digital copy (via
flash drive)” and then lays out general instructions including that responses “must be bound.”
QUESTION: Are all of the emailed PDF version, the separate hard-copy versions and Thumb
Drive version all required? If so, is the date of receipt by the city for all of these COB August
17th? We found this unclear.
You will only need to submit a digital copy of the RFQ. No need to submit hard copies or a flash
drive with it as well. This language was incorrectly included in the RFQ and is from outdated
templates that no longer apply.
2. The reference section seeks references who are “past clients” or “colleagues.”
QUESTION: Can a “past” client also be a “current” or “existing” client who we expect or have
confirmed will retain us in 2021?
Yes, a current or existing client will work. We would like to understand the client experience of
working with you.
QUESTION: Could/should “colleague” include any legislators, or be confined to other lobbyists
with whom we work?
Yes, a colleague can be anyone—lobbyist or legislator—who can speak to the work you have
done with them to advance an agenda at the Statehouse.
