This parkland used to have three really good native grasses -- western wheatgrass, bluebunch wheatgrass, and Idaho fescue. They have been choking out because of our lawn grassses --smooth brome and Kentucky bluegrass And thistle because of all the trail traffic. It could be that the city willconsider replanting the damaged areas with the most invasive, non-native weedy grasses: bluegrass, smooth bromeand crested wheatgrass. I e-mailed Mitch Overton to ask if he would at least consider mixing in some native grass - western wheat grass, bluebunch wheat, Idaho fescue seeds --with whatever they plan to replant with. Thanks, Sharon Eversman, 1402Cherry, 586-6788 Lots of spotted knapweed between Cherry Drive and Ash east of Holly.... --This email is intended only for the person or entityto which it is addressed and may contain confidentialinformation.
