First, may I say that I support our police. We respect them and know that they sacrifice much to serve and protectus, those taxpayers who live in your city. It is offensive to me that you removed a budgeted police car from thebudget. To note, the Bozeman Chronicle advertised the BLM event on the front page whereas there was nothing intoday’s paper about the Support our Police event. Now the headline of the article which I presume will be inSunday’s paper says ‘Defend the Police’ demonstrators clash with counter protesters at car rally. I would bet that theprotesters were those who were clashing with the peaceful Defend the Police folk.
You are listening to a miniscule minority of extremists supporting BLM. I find it impossible to believe what ishappening in our country, politicians supporting these anarchist Marxists and letting their police be killed andharmed, letting them burn, loot and destroy property. How will you react if they decide to destroy and damage yourbeautiful downtown? That just may happen at the next Chronicle supported rally.
The BLM group’s radical Marxist agenda would supplant the basic building block of society—the family—with thestate and destroy the economic system that has lifted more people from poverty than any other. Black lives, and alllives, would be harmed. (Heritage.org)
The president of Greater New York Black Lives Matter said that if the movement fails to achieve meaningfulchange during nationwide protests …., it will “burn down this system.”
Judith Heilman is an extremist. Is that who you want to have power in your city? I actually worked with her and sheis very nice and very smart.
Most conservatives, 65%+, have indicated that they will not make a political statement because of likelypersecution. You will not hear from me again, I will go back to my hiding place and shut up
