To whom it may concern,
I am writing to inquire as to what the issue is in Bozeman right now that some of the people in
most dire need of social assistance are being critically inconvenienced by the recklessexpansion undertaken by Bozeman this summer.
I live in the Boulevard Apartments on Tracy and Babcock. Gas, water, and sewer main lines
run underground between Willson and Tracy, and this job is extending some ways south. Whyhave you allowed the contractors on this project to leave a gaping hole in the alley that runs
between the Boulevard apartments and the First Presbyterian Church? There are disabledresidents here (myself among them) that are put through undue stress because of this
mismanagement of the project. To compound the problem, you are allowing your parkingauthorities to relentlessly and repeatedly ticket residents here, due to a situation beyond their
control while they are simultaneously at the worst possible place financially to be able to paythose fines, were they valid.
I have Multiple Sclerosis, and being out in the heat of the summer is dangerous for me. Why
do I need to risk my life to park needlessly far away from my place of residence because thecity cannot get its act together?
I am asking you to please tell the parking authority here in Bozeman to not enforce the rolling
block rule between Tracy and Willson for this reason. Additionally, please refund the value oftickets dispersed to residents of this building if possible.
I moved to Bozeman to preserve my health about a decade ago. Why is it that you feel it is all
right to jeopardize my health, in the middle of a pandemic to boot?
Thank you for your consideration, and PLEASE fix this problem.
