On July 21st the Planning Board held a public hearing to make a recommendation on the July
21, 2020 Bozeman Community Plan draft. During the public hearing public comment was
considered and acted upon. In addition, individual Board members moved to request
additional changes to the draft plan.
The purpose of the July 28th public hearing is to continue the public hearing, hear additional
public comment, and continue the Board’s review and refinement of the draft Community
Plan. Further, a coalition of concerned individuals herein referred to as the Bozeman
Development Consortium (BDC), will present a variety of concepts and ideas for the Board to
consider. These concepts are outlined in the attached document from the BDC.
Staff has created a summary of action made by the Board on July 21st. The draft summary is
attached for your reference. These changes are in process of being made. Any additional
changes supported by the Board at the July 28th public hearing will also be made prior to
forwarding the draft Plan to the City Commission for consideration.
