Hello,
I would like to see the city of Bozeman take steps to improve the safety and cleanliness of Soroptomist Park
on the corner of Main and Rouse. In recent years, the park has become increasingly overrun by transients,
leaving behind beer bottles, drug paraphernalia and other garbage in the park. On almost any afternoon in
the summer one can walk through the park and find groups of people camped out in the park with their
belongings scattered along the paths and under the trees. There are many times when it is not a safe place
to stop and sit on a bench or even transit. Has the city been aware of this issue and is anything being done
to improve the situation at this park?
