I think masks should be mandated in public. The research shows this is the best way to limit the spread of
COVID-19 when social distancing cannot be enforced. Places in Big Sky are already doing this. Stores have
adequate signage and some have masks and hand sanitizer available upon entrance. If needs to be made
easy for consumers and the community to follow-suit.
If the county is "to remain open" please mandate the wearing of masks. Many tourists have proven to bring
the virus with them, and if our community is still working through this pandemic, everybody should be
taking this EASY precaution to keep us safe. We've already seen our plan of attack FAIL here in Montana
and the rest of the US. We need to step it up.
Also, as a recent graduate from MSU, I think with the influx of students from out of state, there has to be a
mask requirement in-place to protect the Bozeman and MSU communities, or else we'll just keep doing this
silly cycle of enforcement and things will just keep getting worse.
Please make masks mandatory.
