A majority of residents on N. Montana and N. Bozeman, north of Peach, would like to make the temporary
stop signs at all intersections permanent. Signs are currently scheduled to be removed once Rouse opens.
The current process for stop sign consideration includes a street survey that counts the number of cars.
That survey does not take into account the speed at which cars travel, neighborhood sentiment, or
demographics. Our neighborhood in particular now has many young children in it. This wasn't the case just
five years ago. Finally, the fact that there are signs installed now makes just replacing those signs with city
owned signs an easy task for the city. We hope the city will decide to make this easy and replace the
existing with permanent. Thank you.
