(why am I even spendingany time on this topic) - I know of no placebo controlled double blind randomized study that a shows any benefit of risk being reduced inpatients wearing a mask compared to not wearing a mask.- The support of the CDC and WHO of face masks has only recently come to the surface. Even so, it is positionedas the last resort : use them when the other moe accepted interventions are 100% supportive of hand washing , socialdistancing, etc.- Wearing a mask can be done but it should be left to customer /patient choice. A few exceptions . Hospitals, nursing homes, NYC subways.- If employers want to “protect" their employees they can certainly require them to wear masks.- Pit the leftover money into a account where workers can access on her own . And above all, keep old folks out of the bars. Whoops. That means me! No mandates. No Judgment. More emphasis on had washing. Don
