Hi, I am a resident of Bozeman and want my thoughts on the matter of COVID and our safety
to be heard. It is very discouraging to see what great effort we Montanans put forth during theshut-down in March/April all go to loss (as it seems). We literally almost flattened the curve in
Montana and now with reopening too quickly and too loosely we are right back to a spike incases.
I am in favor of doing whatever we can to reduce the transmission of COVID and decrease ournumber of cases. I see what is currently happening (voluntary mask-wearing, people
disregarding social distancing, spiking cases, etc.) as a clear threat to our health and oureconomy. I would like to see greater mandated precautions in Montana and Bozeman. This
includes: mask wearing becomes mandatory in public, temporarily closing certain businesses, limiting travel from out of state into Montana (adding back in a quarantine for arriving to
Montana).
Thank you for reading this.
