Apparently many of the businesses were requiring masks to enter(even restaurants until one is seated and while one is ordering take out) and customers were giving them a hard time so the town mandated masks effectiveJuly 1st if one was in a public space as I understand it. All the employees in all the restaurants, shops and hotels had them on as did any person entering thosebusinesses. Also many of the folks in the streets had them on and even those hiking on the Park. Frankly I felt safer there than here. I understand that Bozeman and Jackson are different places with a differentpopulation bases but seems like Bozeman should do the same. By requiring masks, the City is helping the businesses stay safe and thus helping the economy.
