I am writing today to request that the City of Bozeman consider funding Streamline’s entire
$300,000 funding request. I believe public transit is a critical resource in our communitybecause we are trying to make Bozeman accessible to all, reduce carbon footprints as well as
the number of cars in town and in various locations. Public transit also plays an important rolein helping our community make progress on its various community plans, including the City
of Bozeman’s Strategic Plan, Triangle Community Plan, the Bozeman Community Plan draft,the City of Bozeman Master Transportation Plan, and more. As demonstrated by these plans,
the City Commission values public transportation in the Bozeman community. However, theCity’s budget for the upcoming fiscal year does NOT indicate that public transit is one of their
priorities. Please support our community plans by funding Streamline at a higher level nowand into the future.
