Response to Questions
1.) What is the planned budget for the project?
Generally, planned budgets for capital expenditures, as well as significant planning and study efforts,
are contained in the City’s Capital Improvements Plan. The CIP is publicly available at the City’s Finance
Department webpage. The project budget was originally planned in the FY18 Water Fund CIP as project
no. W80. Planned project budget has rolled forward to present and is available at the originally
planned amount of $150k. Please note that selection decisions are based solely on RFP evaluations of
firms’ qualifications to meet the requested scope and do not include consideration of costs. The scope
of the effort has shifted somewhat since original CIP programming to include the management tool
described in the RFP. The FY18 Water Fund CIP is available at
https://www.bozeman.net/Home/ShowDocument?id=3464
2.) May a copy of the calibrated water model be provided?
The current version of the calibrated water model has been placed with the RFP resources available on
the bzncloud.bozeman.net. If a link has been already provided you should be able to access the water
model files. If a link is needed please contact bheaston@bozeman.net
3.) Has a firm been selected for the Water Conservation Plan project and if so is a proposal or draft scope
available?
The firm of Maddaus Water Management, Inc. was selected to perform services for the Water
Conservation Plan project. Contract negotiations are ongoing so final scope has not been developed at
this point. The firm’s RFP response is available on bzncloud.bozeman.net.
