I am writing today to request that the City of Bozeman consider funding Streamline’s entire
$300,000 funding request. I believe public transit is a critical resource in our communityespecially now for those who have been or will see adverse economic impacts or loss of
income from COVID. We need access to transportation to get people to work and to theservices the need.
Public transit also plays an important role in helping our community make progress on itsvarious community plans, including the City of Bozeman’s Strategic Plan, Triangle
Community Plan, the Bozeman Community Plan draft, the City of Bozeman MasterTransportation Plan, and more. As demonstrated by these plans, the City Commission values
public transportation in the Bozeman community. However, the City’s budget for theupcoming fiscal year does NOT indicate that public transit is one of their priorities.
Without access to public transportation we cannot be a vibrant and livable city for ALLresidents. Please support our community plans by funding Streamline at a higher level now
and into the future.

Dear Friends of Streamline members,
We need your help! The City of Bozeman has only allocated half of Streamline's funding
request this year. We requested $300,000, but the preliminary budget allocates $150,000. Lastweek, we voiced our concern about this lower allocation, and the commissioners seemed open
to the possibility of funding Streamline at a higher level!
This upcoming Monday, June 22nd, they will making their final decision on the budget, andwe desperately need YOU to voice your opinion. Can you take five minutes to email in a
public comment to agenda@bozeman.net? All public comment needs to be sent in Mondaybefore NOON. A draft email is shown below for you to use:
