Question about drone use. Does the city have a policy?

Hi Chris, I am a longtime Bozeman resident and have been very careful about covid. This is a
mess!
I did a solstice splurge last night and ordered take out (one of only a few times in the last three
months) from a well-established sushi restaurant off-main street. I was the only customer
wearing a mask, the only employee wearing a mask was the one right behind the cash
register. Even though I was getting take out, I had to check in with the host (had already paid
online), the waiting area was packed!!! It was just like this restaurant was pre-covid. People
were right on top of each other, many different groups, and no one in masks. I was
appalled!!!!! This restaurant was nowhere near following CDC guidelines. This is how covid
spreads! If businesses and the general public are being irresponsible then we do need to
tighten things up from a regulatory and government standpoint. It is the only thing that will
work.
While I have you here, a second, and unrelated matter. This evening a man was flying a drone
in Cooper Park and was buzzing by our houses and backyards (I live in the Cooper Park
neighborhood). Very invasive!!!!!! Nowhere online could I find information about drone laws
within the Bozeman City Limits. What are or where can I find this information? This is a huge
quality of life and privacy issue.
Thank you for your time and your communications on the bozone orgs list.
Best,
Danielle Nicholas
