Dear Bozeman City Commission,
I am a native Montanan and have lived in Bozeman since 1992. I have been a homeowner
since 2002. I am writing in full support of funding the Bozeman Police Department. I alsosupport increasing their budget. With the influx of people moving to Bozeman, we will see an
increased demand for law enforcement. I do not want to see Bozeman turn into my hometownof Billings.
I would like to see more patrol cars and officers on the streets at a given time.
I also am in full support of the School Resource Officers. I’d like to see more of those as well
but I know that budget comes from the school district.
I would be willing to pay more in taxes each year in order to keep the police and firedepartments well funded.
