Following up again on signs, the pedestrian crossing signs at the roundabout, and also the park. I'd also like to invite you out to the neighborhood about 5pm to take part as a spectator in the Clifden 500, it's reallya great time living in a residential and park neighborhood that now has all West end traffic routed through! Not surewhat the latest closure was, maybe the roundabout on Durston, but starting Monday morning the traffic has doubled, along with the speed. How much longer are we expected to tolerate this? The text thread last night was aboutinstalling temporary speed bumps, or just getting a news crew out to highlight the lack of safety measures beingtaken. I guarantee if anybody making these traffic decisions had this happening on their street, they simplywouldn't tolerate it. Thanks!Matt -----Original Message-----From: Chris Mehl <CMehl@BOZEMAN.NET>Sent: Tuesday, May 26, 2020 1:28 PMTo: Matt Smith <matts@dennymenholthonda.com>Subject: RE: Valley West Matt,I don't have update; do know parks staff was supposed to go check out the signs. Do you have an update regarding pedestrian crossing signs, and replacing a few of the faded PARK signs? Also checked with the Parks Director and he will follow upwith the visibility of the park signs. I just watched four cars drive right past my nine year old at the cross walk! He’s wearing a fluorescent yellowsweatshirt, you can’t miss him. With traffic flowing right through Clifden again, it is becoming apparent my concerns are falling on deaf ears. How many documented complaints do I need to file? I’m a frustrated , tax paying citizen and I’m not alone. Last fall when we spoke about the park signs in the neighborhood, they came and added the yellow reflection piece on the pole, which was nice, and flags on the tops of the speedsigns. But I'd still like to see the PARK part of the signs replaced as well, the yellow is extremely faded, as you cansee in the pictures. I think we could also use a PARK and speed limit sign in front of the park itself. We also spokeabout pedestrian crossing signs at the roundabout, and I was hoping we could get those added this spring. The newpedestrian crossing signs, I think there are four in a row on Babcock, are highly visible. I've attached pictures ofeach area, including the faded signs, no sign by the park, and the Babcock ones that look great.>> The other area of concern are the off leash dogs, can we add a daily animal patrol through the neighborhood, seems like a few tickets might help people take notice!>> Thanks for your help!>> Matt Smith> General Manager> Denny Menholt Honda> 406.587.0761>>>>> City of Bozeman emails are subject to the Right to Know provisions of Montana's Constitution (Art.
