1985 revision
Matt Cohen , surveyor
One of the best individual examples of the numerous very similar
Queen Anne style houses in the district due to degree of
ornamentation and overall condition , this house is also
significant as part of a group of four similar houses on
I this block .
The house design appears to have been derived from patterns
in house catalogs such as Fred T . Hodgsons . House Design Nos .
1032 , 1038 , and 1076 in that catalog are similar to this
one ( see appendix) . The houses that stand adjacent to
this one which are very similar are 415 , 419 and 427 W .
Curtiss .
