MEETING DATE: June 8, 2020
AGENDA ITEM TYPE: Consent RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the Interim City Manager to the Agreement. BACKGROUND: The Midtown Urban Renewal Board (MURB) plans to complete construction of streetscape improvements to the N. 7th Ave. corridor between Durston Rd. and Mendenhall St. in summer 2020. A goal of the project is to enhance pedestrian safety and usability by reducing the opportunity for pedestrian and vehicle conflicts. The property owned by CJ&J, LLC, currently occupied by Rikki’s Furniture, has four drive approaches. This Agreement allows the City to remove one of these four drive approaches as part of the project.
UNRESOLVED ISSUES:
None.
FISCAL EFFECTS: The Agreement does not create any costs for the City, since the Project was bid with the supposition that this agreement would be finalized. ATTACHMENTS: 1. Agreement Between and CJ&J, LLC and the City of Bozeman for the N. 7th Ave. Streetscape Design and Construction Project
