Montana Date:Monday, June 1, 2020 1:32:00 PM I’ve never heard of any city anywhere that has promoted allowable unusable (it’s vacant and not maintained, never to be inhabited) housing. It’s not Usable as a house. Sent from my iPhone On Jun 1, 2020, at 1:18 PM, Dp <davidperlstein@gmail.com> wrote: Why is this ok???? Why ? Why would you want uninhabitable, could never befixed and is full of rodents, be allowed to stay in existent. It was sold asdilapidated and unlivable. I can send you the listing from years ago. Why notenforce a tear down and allow him to keep his build able / grandfathered lot as thehouse currently stands? Montana David, At this time the City is not pursuing a demo of this structure. The assessment of the building department is that the building remains safe as long as it is properly boarded up and secure. I will remain vigilant that the owner controls the vegetation on the property to decrease the fire hazard. The code does not classify a structure as a nuisance because it is unsightly.
