RE: Montana Department of Commerce, Big Sky Economic Development Program
FLIR Surveillance, Inc.
Dear Mayor Mehl;
The Montana Department of Commerce has received a request from the City and FLIR
Surveillance, Inc. requesting that the application to assist FLIR Surveillance Inc. be
withdrawn. The company feels that due to the current business climate, they will be
unable to substantially fulfil the hiring of four employees in 2020.
Please accept this letter as formal notification that the application, and subsequent award,
has been withdrawn. The BSTF Job Creation funds awarded to the project will be
deobligated and will reverted back to BSTF fund to be used for other projects.
Sincerely,
Wayne Johnston
