To whom it may concern;
I would like to express my support for HRDC's Blueprint Youth home on N. 15th (SUP 20116). HRDC
continues to work to make homelessness rare, brief, and one-time in our community and early intervention
and prevention is one of our greatest assets and tools to set younger Gallatin County citizens up for
success. Youth homeless services in Bozeman continues to be a gap in our Housing Continuum and HRDC
and dedicated partners work diligently to meet the needs of our most vulnerable youth. The Blueprint
Home on N. 15th is an opportunity to serve the many youth without a home and will establish community
and acceptance in an ideal location, promote education goals, and showcases a liveable place for all.
Young citizens needing transitional housing often do not have established, reliable relationships, or
supports. Citizenship can be described as a life within a community which would include rights,
responsibilities, roles, resources,and relationships. The Blueprint program, with community inclusion, has
an opportunity to help establish those. We want to empower our younger citizens to have a positive,
accepting, and welcoming life within our beautiful community. Bozeman youth belong here and are valued,
they are worthy of investment, and they are worthy of inclusion as a neighbor in any location in Bozeman.
Thank you, sincerely, for your time and attention.
