To whom it may concern-First, let me say how much I have appreciated the excellent response to COVID-19
from the city and the county health department. We are where we are because of everyone's efforts!
Second, I would like to encourage you to consider what can be done for children and families in the city as
it is deemed safe. So much has been taken away from children and we need to examine what can be done
to keep them active and healthy. Therefore, I encourage you to consider the opening of the city of
Bozeman pool. I firmly believe that the City of Bozeman Swim Center would be a much safer place for my
children to swim then a place such as a hot springs that may not even have chlorinated water.
As a parent of two elementary age children, I find it very interesting that much is being done for businesses
and adults who patronize those businesses. It seems as though families are being left out of the equation
even though we are all working harder than we ever have with trying to work full time jobs and school our
children from home. We need areas that can provide exercise and stress relief for our children, even if
opening those areas don't really provide an economic benefit. Unfortunately, children have no lobbying
groups or voices in all of this.
