Dear Cyndy Andrus,
As residents of 3128 Madrona Lane we are very opposed to any change to the
Residential zoning on the 392 acres between W Graf and Goldenstein Lane. Upon looking for a home we were very impressed with the foresight in the
manner the Alder Creek area has been developed.
Our house backs up to 11th Avenue, just across from the Alder Creek Park. Thatopen space with it’s beautiful tree lined paths and playground amenities is a
treasured part of the neighborhood. It is a joy to watch the parade bikers of allages, dog walkers. The younger children have a wonderful time on various well
constructed jungle gyms, slides etc although at this time they aren’t in use.
If 11th Avenue changes from a neighborhood street to an artery servingcommercial enterprises, the traffic will split the subdivision in half, destroy the
atmosphere and safety of the park. It will damage the property values in theneighborhood at large, but will especially effect the values and quality of life for
those of us along 11th Street.
We request that you consider the quality of life that we and neighbors haveinvested in before making zoning changes for the acreage just south of Alder
Creek. We ask that you consider the children who bike and walk to the twoschools close by. Finally we ask that you carefully consider a broad view of the
town of Bozeman and that neighborhoods with good qualities of life are good forthe city.
Respectfully,
Dita Daub928.231.9398
