Dear Mayor Mehl,
We are recent arrivals in Bozeman. We purchased the property at 3128 Madrona Lane in Alder Creek subdivisionin December of 2018. This property met our threshold for neighborhood amenities with a mixture of activity andquiet. We paid a premium price for our house and we have put a number of improvements the latest being anexpanded deck.
We are on the east side of Madrona that puts our back right along 11th. Avenue. The beautiful Alder Park is directlyacross from us and very active with small kids, teenagers and pets. We feel that the 117 acre Blackwood GrovesDevelopment that our 11th Avenue would access would adversely effect our community and we are asking that youdeny the land owners request to change the zoning.
Please help us preserve the vibrant Alder Creek subdivision that we now call home.
