Hello there!
Thank you for taking my call. I live on N Grand Ave on the east side of the road where parking is illegal. I haveaddressed the parking issues on my block several times with the City Parking Commission. They have come out andlooked at the signage, and had trees trimmed back to make sure they are visible. I have requested a sign be put rightat my driveway since frequently (like this morning, with a delivery truck taking some time to deliver furniture) thedriveway gets blocked. I have had individuals verbally abuse me when I requested they not block my driveway.There is a photo attached from just a few moments ago of someone's Range Rover illegally parked just near thedrive. This goes on all day, every day.
While on the parking topic, the second issue I have not had a call back on recently is the construction project on NWillson frequently blocking the alley with no prior notice. For a while they seemed to be using it as a parking lot. Idid let them know this was the downstairs tenant's designated parking area and he needed to be able to access it. Ithas calmed down a little, however, I still see vehicles in the alley frequently, blocking the tenant off-street parking,and alley passage. They have an entire half a city block, paved parking, and curbside parking for their vehicles.
