I wanted to share someexperiences with you, as I hope they may be helpful in some way to those “on the ground” with COVID policyissues. We are currently in Hawaii where we have been since March and in looking for information about how toreturn safely, the information is a little confusing. Specifically it would be helpful if there were a clear delineationand guidelines about the different types of quarantine- if you have symptoms of COVID, if you have a diagnosis ofCOVID, or if you are entering Montana from out of state. It turns out that there are different guidelines for each, buttrying to find the specifics was nearly impossible- it was only in talking to someone ( who sounded about 16) at theMT tourism hotline, that I was able to learn the different quarantine requirements). Most troubling was my recentconversation with a friend who lives in MA who was hired as a fishing guide to begin work June 1 AND WASTOLD by the employer if you are traveling to MT FOR WORK then no quarantine was required. Searching on theinternet, the Governor’s order seems to support that assertion ( in a vague way). With so many folks on their way back to Bozeman for the summer time, I think this would be a great opportunity toclarify and publicize the DIFFERENT types of quarantine & specific requirements. Thanks again, Elise Strong 808-344-0407 Sent from my iPhone
