Subject: Pedestrian's beef
Hi Mr. Mayor,
I’m wondering if you’re aware of the fact that in our rush to cater to developers, someone (City? State?)
has allowed the sidewalks to be closed on both sides of Main Street where it passes the north end of
Lindley Park leaving pedestrians either disobeying the “closed” signs (the option I chose) or walking in
the traffic lanes (an especially unattractive option what with some lanes closed off). Please remind the
state highway department (or whomever) that there ARE pedestrians in Bozeman who especially need
sidewalks beside busy highways. Now that Heebs has moved up to Highland Boulevard, I am occasionally
one of those pedestrians.
Thanks for listening
Marjorie
