Just following up on this message to see if there's a plan in place regarding the proper signage. I have seen animal control a few times, but the other day he drove right by two separate people with large dogs, offleash. Not sure how effective that is. With some dog parks closed the field by the park and the lake have turnedinto the new dog parks for playing fetch. Thanks!Matt -----Original Message-----From: Chris Mehl <CMehl@BOZEMAN.NET>Sent: Thursday, March 5, 2020 12:51 PMTo: Matt Smith <matts@dennymenholthonda.com>Subject: RE: Valley West Thanks Matt,I'll forward these on to staff and see what's what. Looking for some help from the city, again. Last fall when we spoke about the park signs in the neighborhood, theycame and added the yellow reflection piece on the pole, which was nice, and flags on the tops of the speed signs. But I'd still like to see the PARK part of the signs replaced as well, the yellow is extremely faded, as you can see inthe pictures. I think we could also use a PARK and speed limit sign in front of the park itself. We also spoke about pedestrian crossing signs at the roundabout, and I was hoping we could get those added this spring. The new pedestrian crossing signs, I think there are four in a row on Babcock, are highly visible. I've attached pictures of each area, including the faded signs, no sign by the park, and the Babcock ones that look great. The other area of concern are the off leash dogs, can we add a daily animal patrol through the neighborhood, seemslike a few tickets might help people take notice! Thanks for your help!
