The council does not seem to be addressing the stay at home order or the request to wear masks.
Elected officials have to lead by example so that the populace (more than half of which have an IQ under average)will take these directives seriously. Many are taking it as a joke to have a holiday. There is as much traffic as usual.
There is a reason that compliance is estimated at 20% in Bozeman and cases are on the rise.
Get on the news on TV and in the papers and announce that social distancing including wearing masks meanseveryone. Visiting with friends, shopping, playing in the park whatever is included.
I can envision someone deciding that they lost a loved one because elected officials were not aggressive in gettingthe message out and enforcing that message means they can win a law suit.
