RE: CONDITIONAL APPROVAL OF ARMORY HOTEL MODIFICATION TO APPROVED PLAN, APPLICATION
NO. 19410 dated March 4th, 2020 located at 24 West Mendenhall St, Bozeman, MT
Mr. Matsen,
I am aware of your conditional approval of the proposed modifications to this plan. Specifically, the
relocation of the HVAC air handler units from the top floor to the second and the relocation of the
swimming pool from the second to the top (ninth floor). Relative to my residence across the street at 5
West these are significant considerations both aesthetically and concerning noise. These do not strike
me as a typical change order but rather something that was planned from the beginning. While
screening the air handler units is a reasonable mitigating effort I respectfully request that the original
plan be honored leaving mechanical units on top floor and swimming pool on second.
