Bozeman City Commission,
How do you maintain social distance or stay at home if you don't have a home to stay in?
Many service workers have already lost their jobs here in Bozeman. This means many of them
will be unable to make their rent next month. Every additional person who can’t afford to stay
home in the coming weeks is a public health threat.
- Will you publicly call on businesses to do all they possibly can to pay their employees to stay
home during this time?
- Will you publicly call on commercial and residential landlords to waive or reduce rents as
much as possible?
- Will you urge Governor Bullock to use his emergency powers to suspend rent and mortgage
payments (including commercial leases for small businesses) so that our essential workers are
protected and others can safely stay home?
Thank you for your time and urgent attention. If we act quickly, we can protect our most
vulnerable during this difficult time.
